Setting
Goals
To make practice time more efficient and
productive, you need to set goals. At the
end of each day's practice, write a plan for
the next session. Make a list of problematic
points to be addressed. This will help direct
your attention to the areas that need work
and add consistency to your practice.
It is a good idea to practice soon after
your lesson, the same day if possible. Take
note of the corrections and suggestions made
by your teacher. You will have a better chance
of remembering the corrections and avoid practicing
errors over and over.
