RCM Examinations are highly recommended. They provide a goal to work towards, valuable feedback and performance experience.  Specific RCM examinations are accepted as credits towards the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Recently, university admissions have looked favorably upon RCM credits; they improve an applicants standing for admission. More information is available on the RCM Examinations web site.

New Ontario Accrediation Policies:

1. RCM Grade 7 Practical and Grade 1 Rudiments is equivalent to a non-grade 12 university/college preparation credit
2. RCM Grade 8 Practical and Grade 2 Rudiments is equivalent to a grade 12 university/college preparation credit
