Native
to Ontario, Ford Barker completed his BSc in Life Sciences in 1985
from Queen's University at Kingston. He relocated to Toronto, securing
employment with the University of Toronto working on research
projects.
Ford's
musical studies began at an early age. His training has primarily been
with the Royal Conservatory of Music and he holds an ARCT in Piano
Pedagogy. Ford is an active member of the Ontario Registered Music
Teachers' Association. Serving the executive of the Central
Toronto Branch for seven years, Ford acted as

a student; his musical studies are ongoing. Both instructor and performer, Ford
teaches independently, maintaining a busy studio. He believes all
