While this construction is under way, note that to get a
high-speed connection via the Toronto Free-Net, these are the steps to follow:
- First, fill in the Online Form with your real name and location
only if you have never been a Toronto Free-Net member before. This immediately creates the free Basic account.
- Then you will mail, fax, or bring into our office your intial payment and identification document (current dial-up members can skip
the ID, too, as we will already have it on file), together with the DSL paper-based form below.
- Receive confirmation from us, and a typical 5 business days later your phone line will have been 'conditioned' and ready for
high-speed data traffic.

(This second form will help you calculate your initial payment, and
acceptable ID includes Drivers licence, credit card, Ontario health card, cheque
or utility bill with your name, birth certificate, passport....)
